• How High Can You Jump?

    Mr. Koop, Mr. C, Corbin and Parxx all cleared 120cm this afternoon in a high jump demonstration for the students. We know they all could have gone much higher.
    Mr. Watson, Wells, and Mrs. Harris also participated and showed us a variety of ways to jump 🙂

  • Badminton Success

    It was a very busy event with 20 players from each of the elementary schools in the district, competing in the badminton tournament. The Charlie Lake team did very well and everyone won at least 2 games and most won quite a few more.

  • FSJ Elks Speed Skating- Feb. 26 from 11am-12pm FREE Session

    The 2022 Beijing Olympics have ended, with Canadian speed skaters coming home with NINE medals- two GOLD, four SILVER and three BRONZE– can you imagine representing Canada as a speed skater at future Olympics?

  • Basketball Battle

    There were a sea of blue shirts as Charlie Lake took on Ecole Central’s teams. They were good games and the students had a lot of fun. Thank you to our coaches Mr. Clements and Mrs.

  • Laker Soccer Players Achieve Great Results

    Lakers took part in the district soccer tournament on Saturday and they played very well. All 3 teams were undefeated in round robin play. The two grade 4/5 teams had to play each other in the final with Mrs.

  • Congratulations Cross Country Runners

    The Laker team did well in their first run of the season. Congratulation Harvey Toews for earning second place in the intermediate race and to Graydon Rouble who took third place in the primary division.  All of the runners did well and it was such a beautiful day!
